ARFhouse Chicago (Animal Refuge Foundation) is a no-kill all volunteer animal shelter in Chicago. In August 2007, we celebrated our one year anniversary. In addition to helping place homeless animals, our goal is to lower the homeless pet population and the number of animals euthanized. Our goal is being accomplished through a combination of adopting out animals and educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering. To date, we have adopted out over 200 animals.

ARFhouse places dogs, cats, and guinea pigs into permanent homes. We currently house our animals in foster homes and boarding facilities. We our affiliated with ARFhouse in Sherman, Texas, the third largest no-kill sanctuary in the United States. All of our animals are current on vaccinations, heartworm checked, spayed or neutered, microchipped and receive routine medical check ups. We pride ourselves on the level of care, commitment, and medical attention that our animals receive.

ARFhouse takes in animals of all breeds, sizes, ages and medical conditions. We work hard find all of them their forever homes.
