The Atlanta Animal Welfare Meetup

Every year, more than 6 to 8 million animals enter shelters in the U.S., yet only half of those animals make it out alive. Further, animal cruelty and neglect are huge problems facing society. This meetup is for anyone who wants to do more for animal welfare in Atlanta. We will meet to discuss and brainstorm solutions that will help save lives, educate the public, and ultimately work towards a NO-KILL Atlanta. I am working to start a 501(c)3 non-profit in Atlanta, and would love to have a solid base of volunteers ready to be active animal welfare change agents in the community. However, anyone who shares a common interest in animal welfare, and wishes to see Atlanta and the rest of the United States do more to help our four-legged friends is invited & encouraged to join this meetup even if you cannot commit more than a couple hours a month! Together we can make a difference and SAVE LIVES.
