Welcome to the Triangle PACK!

The purpose of this Meetup Group is to provide Triangle area dog owners with an interactive, one-stop resource for all things canine related including:

• Health and Wellness Information
  
• Fund Raising Opportunities
  
• Volunteer Opportunities
  
• Local Area Shelter Needs
  
• Community Sponsored Dog Events
  

Let's face it, dog people are just fun. This group is open to anyone who has a dog, wants a dog, trains a dog, fosters a dog, or just plain LOVES dogs. It should also be a good time for anyone who found themselves nodding in hysterics as they read or watched "Marley & Me" on film!


Know of a great place to get some doggie treats? A great place for a big dog to run? You've got the best vet in Wake County? An upcoming rabies clinic that isn't posted on the calendar? Let everyone know by posting it or starting a discussion thread.


The majority of our actual face-to-face (or face-to-rear for the dogs!) MEETUPS will center around local area community sponsored events whereby we will have an opportunity as a PACK to come together and show our support for local area animal organizations.


This group's fees for any such event will either be FREE or posted to recoup MEETUP group monthly dues. Any extras will in turn be donated to the local animal welfare charities designated in the MEETUP details, or applied as a donation of pet food, blankets, bowls, toys, etc to be taken to the local rescue designated in the details.
* Any other fees associated for participation in events will be the responsibility of the individual member. *


As your PACK-leaders we will pledge to do the following:

• Post the calendar of events and rally the PACK!
  
• Pay the monthly MEETUP dues (while accepting contributions if you or your dog deem this a value)
  
• Provide everyone with an equal opportunity to participate: large-breeds, toy dogs, rescues, seniors alike!
  
• Sniff out anything and everything dog related for the benefit of the group
  
• Answer questions to the best of our ability
  

We want this to be a fun, friendly and relaxed way in which all sorts of dog people can come together for the benefit of our local four-legged friends!
