ChicagoVeg» Chicago area Raw Food, Vegan & Vegetarian Living
Our gatherings serve to network those individuals or organizations that help to save the lives of animals. Networking helps to strengthen and encourage working relationships among rescue groups, animal shelters, animal control organizations, veterinarians, potential volunteers (such as foster home care givers, fundraisers, website designers, transporters, photographers, etc.) If you have a specialty and would love to serve animals we would love to meet you!
Anyone may join, whether or not you're a vegan, vegetarian, animal welfare activist, green environmentalist, intellectual, or nerd. All you need is an interest in what we do.
You can see our calendar for animal welfare / animal rights relevant events and nerdy and veg*n stuff:

Our goal is being accomplished through a combination of adopting out animals and educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering. To date, we have adopted out over 600 animals. ARFhouse places dog …
We welcome all veg*ns (vegans/vegetarians) in the greater Chicago area (and in the entire Midwest) who would like to give or receive support in their choices, whether they are based on Health, Ethical, Environmental, or Spiritual reasons. It doesn't matter if you discovered health benefits of a Vegan Raw Food diet, or chose being vegetarian/vegan because of your Animal Rights stands, or because of any other reasons. The point is that you see an advantage of the plant-based diet and wish to share …
I am a fairly new Vegan living in Wicker Park/Bucktown. I'd love to meetup at various vegan locations in the neighborhood - exchange recipes - books - support & green juice together. The purpose of the group is to explore the life of veganism, meet like-minded guys/gals and make a difference in our health while protecting the animals from slaughter every day. I think you should join if you are a Vegan, Vegetarian, have a chronic health condition where pills are not working, etc. If you are simpl …

If you have a passion for improving the lives of animals in your community or if you're looking for fellow animal lovers to hang out with on a pretty day we’d love to mee …
