Concerned Citizens for Animals (CCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting animal welfare through public education, low cost pet sterilization assistance, and feral cat colony support. We also provide health care and a temporary haven at a no-kill shelter for homeless animals upon a space-available basis and are dedicated to finding loving permanent homes for the homeless animals in our care.

Join us, we meet monthly and have action groups that advocate for Animal liberation around the State of North Carolina. You can be a part of a group that expresses compassion for all.
The Animal Adoption League is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to saving homeless pets. The Animal Adoption League offers veterinary care, foster care and an adoption outlet for animals. Hundred of animals previously homeless are now in permanent, loving homes as a result of League efforts.
This is a group for vegans, aspiring vegans and non vegans who are interested in the vegan life. A place for those whose desire is to abolish the use of animals for food, entertainments, clothing, and research. We may leaflet, do gentle protests, and we may visit sanctuaries and volunteer there as we get to know the lucky animals that were rescued. Perhaps we can hold a vigil at a slaughterhouse. Concert for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, the area's largest no kill shelter, at the Grey Eagle, 185 Clingman St., Asheville, NC on June 8th at 8pm. Bands are: The Archrivals (rock/jazz fusion), Rory Kelly's Triple Threat (hard southern rock) and Alarm Clock Conspiracy (60's/70's inspired rock). Be there or be in the dog house!
